Hmm, it was an ok Sunday. There were some boring parts. There were some normal parts. We played some games with friends in the evening. Our game of space base was so close with a score of 44-43-42-41. I just managed with win with a lucky last roll, but everyone was having lucky rolls at the end.

Saturday: this and that
Here's a picture of Isaac and his team in their new jerseys.
I realized I don't have many large containers. I was looking for anything that would work and found the rectangular cuboid drink dispenser. It fits perfectly! There were a lot of laughs.
Joshua and I biked to the church playground. I thought it would be a cold, but it actually a lovely day.

Friday: home keeping
Ben and Joshua have the same smile!

Thursday: evening
I dropped Isaac off at rock climbing and went back to work. It was a little sad, but I've been a little behind and didn't get caught up over break. After practice was done Isaac wanted to take this picture for Great-Grandma.
When we got home, Joshua was waiting for us. He had gotten a huge trophy for sticking with piano for two years. He was rather excited about it.

Wednesday: lunch
I had lunch with one of my karate instructors today. (We do this once a month.) We wore the same sweatshirt today! It's a really comfy sweatshirt. The black version was on sale the other month, so I bought that one too.
I biked to lunch even though it was rather cold. Construction is still crazy annoying, but I've somewhat figured out how to get around. I can get out of the neighborhood on our one-lane back street. After school pickup I take the highway to James and it only takes about twice as long to get home as normal. But considering normally it only takes seven minutes we're really not doing too bad.

Tuesday: basement
Today was fall break. I spent the morning cleaning the basement. It sounds boring, but it's rather fun. I'm getting closer to finishing the basement, but it just takes so much time to do a good job.
Today was also my first day with a belay partner and it was a lot of fun.

Monday: more done
I got a bunch of things done again today! My to-do list is the lowest it's been since I started recording in 2019. My next two Mondays are a lot more busy so I don't know that I'll get it much lower in the near future.
More construction has started, which closes Riley for two weeks. Traffic today was a mess. It took me 20 minutes to get home after picking up the kids instead of seven minutes. I'll try something a little different tomorrow.
It also (finally) rained tonight. While the weather has been beautiful, it is October and low 80s are too warm. The rain will bring slightly cooler temperatures.

Sunday: sourdough
A quick sourdough update:
I made some scones the other day; they were delicious.
I made some sandwich bread instead of my normal circle loaf. Jury is still out about circle loaf vs sandwich loaf. Joshua liked it a lot better. Isaac was not sure, but likes it better for sandwiches. I enjoyed it for my sandwich. Ben hasn't had it yet.
The bad part is that I only have one pan (but Christmas is coming).

Thursday: logging in
I showed up to the classroom today, as normal, and started getting set up. Except...something had changed. Usually when I try to log into my Hope account, I get an option to send myself a text message with a code that allows me to sign in. It wasn't there this time.
Then the instructions that the screen gave me to find the code on my phone were completely useless.
I got the test started that I was giving and thought about my options. I could get a one time passcode from my office, but that would involve leaving. I had my laptop, which meant I still had access to all my stuff, I just couldn't get it to the lab computer. I emailed myself the files to my personal email. It worked well enough.
I went to CIT after class. They fixed everything up, but it was just a straight-forward fix; it took them a few minutes. I was rather happy about that since it wasn't a super simple fix that I should have known.
