Sunday: Happy Mother's Day

Hmm, it turns out that my "recent picture with Mom" collection isn't really large. So I present some older "pictures with Mom."

Thursday: more pics :)

Flurry (playing with Ben)

The tree with the removed dead/low branches and rocks from where they dug the wall. One will make a nice sitting spot.

The other wall.

Wednesday: golf

Ben and I went to the driving range with some friends after work.

Here's the latest on the landscaping. The back wall has been started. The picture is very blurry, but at least gives an idea.

Tuesday: we have a wall!

Hmm, the stone and the dirt contrast more in real life. Ah well, it's a beautiful wall.

Monday: rocky ground

Landscaping started today. Here is a large rock they took out of the trench behind it. The size of the rock and trench are hard to see. :(

Here is all of our retaining wall...

And here is the electric and gas lines. We'll note that they are supposed to be buried 2 ft underground, but, uh, aren't. Ben dealt with this situation which luckily could have been much worse before telling me about it. Yay Ben! He knew I would stress and there wasn't anything I could do about it.

Sunday: thanks to Discover card

Well, after several, several years of saving up our cashback bonus with Discover card we finally decided to used some of it. We got a new printer.

WoW news: I finally hit exalted with Shattered Sun. Why do you care? Because I can now make a super healing trinket. The problem is that I need about a gazillion more mats before I can actually make it.

Also, this new Shattered Sun area has caused some serious inflation/deflation on the auction house. Today I would like to complain about cloth. It is more economically wise to make a stack of bandages and vendor them than to sell the cloth on the AH. However the environmentalist in me screams bloody-murder at this. I feel like I am polluting my environment.

Saturday: a nice day.

Saturday was a nice day. Travis was over and we enjoyed that. We also watched Serenity, which culminated the Firefly series. It brought together a lot of plot lines, so that was nice.

We also had some friends from church over for dinner and games.
