2025: By the numbers

I have only started tracking a few things this year, but if feels like more apps are giving me year end summaries.  So...

Birds:

NYT games (i.e., Wordle):

Books:
  • I finished 61 books with 26921 pages (although several were audiobooks).
  • My longest book was 963 pages (Mark of the Fool X).
  • My average star rating was 3.66/5.
  • Several books got five stars, including several from the Mother of Learning, Battlemage Farmer, and Mage Errant Series.
  • Bad Food #4 was both my least shelved book and my lowest rated book.  (Seriously.  Don't read it.)
  • My most shelved book was Fourth Wing.  (Although I couldn't handle the next book as the main character got too whiny.)

To-do tasks:  I started with 114 and ended with 70.  My average was 67.

Games.  I started tracking around July 1, so we could double the number of games for a total of around 382.  We do have a few games that we found old scores for and I put those in too, but it's still pretty close.  My worst games (zero wins and at least three plays) include Root, Century, Ark Nova, Saboteur, The Question for El Dorado, and Kingdomino.  My best games include Azul, Port Royal, Qwirkle, and Sea Salt & Paper.  My total win percentage is 32% and, all things being equal, I should have won 34% of the time.  The H-index below means I played seven games at least seven times.

Fitness. I started tracking in August, but here are some things I can find averages for:
  • 5754 steps per day
  • 48 active minutes per day.  (AHA recommends 150 minutes per week)
  • 7 hrs and 12 minutes of sleep per day (including naps)

Quilts. I only finished one that was "mine".  I finished a few that were quilted for others and I have a few ready to be quilted.  I have been playing more games in the evening instead of quilting.
