Today we had two outings.
First we went to story time at the library. We almost missed it because it was in a different place than last week and the checkout person gave me the wrong information. Luckily the children's librarian came over and pointed me in the right direction. Isaac seems to enjoy it...or at least watching all the people.
Then we went on a walk with a friend from college and her five month son. It was a bit cold out, but once we got walking it was nice. It was fun to get caught up again.

Tuesday: firsts
Today we had a lot more firsts.
1. I went to a new dentist and brought Isaac along. He was doing ok, but the reception ladies ended up watching him and seemed very happy to do so. I think it was a rather slow morning.
2. Isaac and I then stopped by Ben's work. We met his coworkers and saw his cube. Ben put Isaac in his chair and tried to convince everyone that Isaac could take over for a while.
3. We went out for lunch with Ben. For some reason it felt extra-special.
4. Isaac wore a bib. He's been rather drool-y for a while, so I finally put one on him while in the exersaucer. It was a good decision...the thing got soaked.
5. We used our grill!

Monday: 10 years
It's been 10 years since Mom died. Dad, Isaac and I went to the cemetery.
I again feel like I should have something special to say, but I don't. I wish she was around to get to know Isaac (who got to spend some time in the exerciser for the first time today.) And I wish I was able to hear her stories of when Nathan and I were young.
Sunday: Happy Easter!
He is Risen! Hallelujah!
Besides celebrating the resurrection of Christ, we went on an Easter egg hunt. It was Isaac's first, and my second. I had a ton of fun.
Isaac carrying his Easter basket
Holding an egg that I gave him.
Loot from Great-Grandmas! (There are a lot of books but they aren't new...just new to Isaac.)
Finally, Isaac seems to have found his tongue. He would stick it out if we stuck our tongue out at him.

Saturday
Isaac wore sock monkeys today. So we played with the sock monkey jack-in-the-box. (By the way, does anyone else think it is weird that there are so many jack-in-the-boxes that have monkeys in them when a weasel goes pop during the song?) Isaac is good at looking at the camera, but not so good at smiling at it yet.
Ben also put together our new grill. We haven't used it yet as we forgot to get propane.

Friday: 14 weeks
Once again, we have some pictures on the quilt.
Isaac got the next size diaper today. They seem so big! And they are big, but they're fitting better than the smaller diapers.
Ben was home today. It was nice. I got to take a nap!
Thursday: new trick
Isaac's new trick of the day seems to be pooping in freshly changed diapers. We spent a lot of time on the changing table today.
Isaac also tried to push himself across the floor with the help of his horse. Sadly, the same thing that makes the horse slide easily also decreases the traction in his feet, so he didn't go anywhere. If I put my hands against his feet he can push against them and move, but that isn't as cool.
