For the first time in my life, I decorated Easter Eggs. I had a blast. I especially liked using the white crayon because it was like using a mystery color...it was hard to tell exactly how it would turn out. More pics here.
Those are pretty awesome eggs! I don't know if I will decorate any this year. When I was in college, we did this decorating technique (probably similar to the crayon idea) where we melted thin pieces of wax and placed them on the egg before coloring (several layers of coloring and waxing). Then once the coloring was completed, we would use gentle heat to melt the wax off, leaving areas of different colors.

Nice! That seems like a cool way to do it too...and much easier to nicely do multiple dye colors.
I can't believe you never colored Easter Eggs before! Well, now you've really lived! They look amazing!!
