Today Dad and Pat came up to join us for the weekend. Although it was pretty cold, it was sunny and when we went on a boat ride it got pretty warm. Overall it was a nice and relaxing day with good food and fun times with family.

This goes back to your Friday post (or maybe Thursday . . . Don't remember!): The 2nd grade picture with your crimped hair made me remember that our moms would compare ways to get our hair crimp nicely. Braids with curlers on the end the night before-- remember sleeping like that?! Anyway, this resulted in both of us having rather wild hair for our second grade shots!
