Sigh. I was hoping that Amtrak might be a feasible option to go home sometimes. However, it takes over 24 hours to get to Holland because of a huge (12 hour) layover in Chicago. :(

Good question. I think it took about 15 hours to get to Chicago. Plus 3 hours to get to Holland plus one hour to get to the station over here...it might be worth it.
